This complex pattern, with many points, is easily and successfully pieced using freezer paper foundations. No matter how many points you have, no matter the size or even the kind of fabric, it will lie flat and depending on how you have placed the fabrics, it will even rotate. In the class, you will learn on a fairly simple 8” block, but the steps and the technique are identical for any size or shape compass. This is best done as a 6 hour class, with several extra different sizes of patterns, but can be shortened to 3-4 hours if desired.
