I decided to make the longest skinniest points for a Mariner’s Compass that I could, using different indigo blue prints. We needed a fancy border for our border book, so I designed and pieced these on freezer paper, using one of the compass points as the unit. The corners in particular were a challenge, but by “leaning the points” into each corner, it worked out well. Hand and machine quilted.
